There are further sightseeing opportunities by car to beautiful old island towns such as:

From Split Port - 40 minutes away
You can catch a ferry (Jadrolinija Line) to visit many nearby islands, such as Brac or Hvar; or, if you wish you could spend many hours in the old town and Roman Palace in Split.

The Krka National Park - 40 minutes away ( is a must. One could easily spend a day wandering around the stunning walks or picnic by a waterfall.
In high season and other times there are also boat trips available from Trogir and the port of Sibenik (45 minutes from Rogoznica) to many of the nearby islands

For lovers of history there are extensive Roman excavations just outside Split at Salona including a small amphitheatre and aqueduct.

The scenic coastal highway makes access to the numerous bays, marinas etc. on the Dalmatian coastline very easy whether you have a car or use local bus services.
